Implementation of Reservation in Admissions under the Central
Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006 as per the
MHRD's Office Memorandum No.1-1/2055-U.1.A/847 dated April 20, 2008
In Admissions to
Integrated M.Phil.-Ph .D. Programme,
Direct Full-time Ph.D. Programme and Part-time Ph.D. Programmes of
NUEPA
It is informed hereby
that NUEPA will be following the Reservation Policy of the
Government of India as per the Reservation in Admissions Act 2006 in
Admissions to its Integrated M.Phil.-Ph .D. Programme, Direct
Full-time Ph.D. Programme and Part-time Ph.D. Programmes.
The application for the said courses already have a provision to
indicate the category of the applicant including that of the OBC.
It is further informed
that all such applicants, who have indicated as belonging to OBC
category in the application form, are required to submit the
necessary documentation substantiating their claims to this
reservation benefit under OBC Category including the Certificate of
Income of family as specified in
No.36033/3/2004-Estt(Res), Government of India, Ministry of
Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel
and Training, North Block, New Delhi. Dated: 9th March, 2004.
It is further
informed that the OBC candidates eligible for reservation shall have
to produce the authentic Certificate issued by the competent
authority at the time of
appearing for the written test, which is scheduled on May 31 2008,
if they are so qualified to appear for this test. As informed
earlier through
www.nuepa.org as well as the registered letter, further
information regarding the qualified candidates for the written test
will be available at NUEPA website from May 21, 2008 onwards.
