The focus of the Department is on training and research in educational management. It conducts programmes for both institutional heads and area level officers. In view of the capacity building of massive number of institutions, this Department has designed an innovative, multi-channeled distance learning system involving interactive television. Current emphasis is on courses in Total Quality Management in Education delivered through virtual classrooms. Another important focus is on planning and management of Resources in Education.
